Lovely Bones
OMG this book was amazing. Although it appears to be fiction this book will have you believing it is all true. The main character really pulls you into the storyline. You wont want to put this book down and will be begging for more each time you pick it up. Alice Seebold has done a fantastic job. The end is not what you think either. Truly amazing and would recommend this read to everyone.

Vanish
Vanish no I dont mean disappear. lol.
There is a product on the market called Vanish Napisan. Anyway I was asked to trial this product for a week then have some lovely people come out and talk to me about my experience. Umm ok.
These two lovely ladies came out to my house and spent over an hour scrutinising how I do a load of washing. Do I spray each individual item, do I soak, how long do I soak items for, what do I put in my wash, do I seperate whites and darks etc. To tell the truth it depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes I just pick up whatever is there and toss it all in the machine and hope for the best. Other times if I know something is stained I will give it a good spray or soak before hand. So anyway I trialled this product and to tell the truth I didnt see any difference in my washing. The stains did not come out despite my soaking and spraying them and then adding the powder version to my wash. I think I will stick with my Sard.

Sentinel
I am part of a group of people affectionately known as Soupers! What the heck is a Souper you ask? We trial new products and we share with our friends and give our opinions on products. One of these products I have been trialling is Sentinel, well I havent been trialling it my doggy has :)
Sentinel is an All round flea*, heartworm and worm protector that you give to your pet once a month. So much easier than buying multiple products to do the same jobs. Anyway I was sent this big envelope full of samples to share with some people I knew with dogs. Its great that the new house where I have just moved backs onto the off leash Dog Park in my area. So iwent out a couple of afternoons with a few samples and the info cards and off I went to walk my dog. When i rounded the corner to the park there were 6 dogs all running and playing, little ones, big ones and even medium sized like my boy. I ventured over and introduced myself as being new to the area I didnt know anyone. we got talking about our pets and someone mentioned fleas. Bonus here is where I jumped in.... because in my big envelope of goodies I was also given two packets of capstar which help to kill the fleas before you use the Sentinel. I told my new found doggy owner friends all about my project and they were all too willing to help. So i handed out some samples and asked them to tell me what they think and how they go giving it to their pets. I've had some great feedback and many have said it was so simple and easy to give, There was no fighting the dog to swallow and it was like giving candy to a baby. Lol

The Bride Stripped Bare
Ok I know it sounds like a weird title but a few weeks ago I was part of a group of women who were given the opportunity to read a new book by an author who had written a sequel to the first book. The book we were to be reading was With My Body by Nikki Gemmell. Anyway to get us in the mood we were sent Nikki's first book The Bride Stripped Bare. It was a very interesting read. I found it a little hard to get into at first but if you persist you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a raw account of lifes up and downs, how you can misinterpret feelings for someone and the ramifications of acting on your urges. I did relate a little to the character in the book from my younger pre marriage days. I was totally enthralled in this book and I guess you could call it soft porn if you like.
With My Body arrived in September and again I found it hard to get into at first but like TBSB I persisted and was pleasantly surprised. It is again what you could call soft porn. I related to the storyline and actually enjoyed getting into the mood of the book and reminiscing. When I handed the books over to a girlfriend she read them and secretly said to me that they put her in the mood for some fun with her husband. A little too much informnation shared there but I thought at least she was being honest.
If you dont mind a bit of a light hearted read and maybe some light porn/sexual connotations etc then this is a great read.
