Ok I know it sounds like a weird title but a few weeks ago I was part of a group of women who were given the opportunity to read a new book by an author who had written a sequel to the first book. The book we were to be reading was With My Body by Nikki Gemmell. Anyway to get us in the mood we were sent Nikki's first book The Bride Stripped Bare. It was a very interesting read. I found it a little hard to get into at first but if you persist you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a raw account of lifes up and downs, how you can misinterpret feelings for someone and the ramifications of acting on your urges. I did relate a little to the character in the book from my younger pre marriage days. I was totally enthralled in this book and I guess you could call it soft porn if you like.
With My Body arrived in September and again I found it hard to get into at first but like TBSB I persisted and was pleasantly surprised. It is again what you could call soft porn. I related to the storyline and actually enjoyed getting into the mood of the book and reminiscing. When I handed the books over to a girlfriend she read them and secretly said to me that they put her in the mood for some fun with her husband. A little too much informnation shared there but I thought at least she was being honest.
If you dont mind a bit of a light hearted read and maybe some light porn/sexual connotations etc then this is a great read.
